Friesians of Majesty provides the finest year-round training for both horse and rider in New England. Whether you are campaigning championship horses for riding/driving or preparing for a Keuring, we specialize in dressage, driving and Keuring.

We keep the horses in prime condition by combining a nutritionally balanced diet with tranquil surroundings and skillful, consistent handling. Our exceptional care satisfies total mind and body wellness. We are pleased to be on the forefront of the latest technological advances, enabling us to identify health issues for prompt, thorough treatments.

Driving

Gurbe, a 4 year old gelding, was trained in two months from his first time in harness to High Point Driving Champion at the 2006 Classic Breed Show

Our professional driving trainers, Robert & Ben Labrie, concentrate on basic ground work, lunging, long lining, carriage and sleigh driving. Each step in teaching horse and driver is designed to be thorough, safe and progressive. Robert & Ben specialize in young horses, problem horses, pleasure and competition horses.

Riding & Driving Lessons

Riding and driving lessons are also available for $65 and $85, respectively, per hour. Lessons are available to guests staying in our cozy cottage or loft apartment on a Friesian Fantasy Getaway , or lessons may be scheduled on an individual basis.

Camps

If you are seeking just a little bit of a tuneup for your horse, consider coming to a women's camp weekend with your horse. Friesians of Majesty offers horse owners the option of bringing their personal horse for three days to take advantage of instruction and training tips. Purchasing a Horse at Friesians of Majesty

Since our horses are bred, born and trained right on our farm, we start training right from birth. When a baby leaves the stall for the first time with its mother, it has a halter and lead line on. This gives our foals a good foundation, from which they mature into solidly trained horses.

The horses that pull our carriages and sleighs are regularly exposed to life beyond the farm, including driving and pulling in the center of small towns, with cars and pedestrians among their potential distractions.
