Mayken was awarded her Ster at the 2007 New England Keuring




Mayken, at only 3 years old, scored 2nd highest of 18 mares during the Keuring.




It was an unusually warm day but Mayken showed off her beauty.

Mayken was awarded First Premie honors and Champion Ribbon Filly at the 2004 New England Keuring.

Mayken is an absolutely gorgeous mare that is jet black with hair as soft as a mink. She has an absolutely perfect head with a disposition to match. For the first week after birth as a filly she would lay her head down across Robert Labrie's lap to go to sleep.

Ymkje her dam, who has been awarded Model at the 2006 New England Keuring, is a 1st premium ster mare we call the gentle giant because she is 17.1 hands with a huge presence and great disposition. To take advantage of this Robert Labrie chose Remmelt 323 to be Mayken’s sire because Remmelt has a low-breeding coefficient of 2.73 and is the highest-scoring stallion on character, and with all his other scores matching up so well with Ymkje's it was an easy pick of the right stallion.
