Alfons & Diederik were awarded Friesian Carriage Driving Champions
at the 2007 NEFHC Classic Show in Topsfield, MA

Diederik was presented to the judges during the 2006 New England Keuring. He received his Ster and was named the Keur Reserve Champion Gelding.

Born in 2001, Diederik is an elegant, jet black gelding, by Premium Fourth Level Dressage stallion, Fede 350. Diederik is trained both under saddle and to harness. He just scored 71.3% on his first dressage test and did it with a green dressage rider.

Diederik is part of our solid driving team entrusted with a wedding carriage and used in demonstrations. He is a crowd pleaser and knows he is gorgeous. Diederik adjusts well to new surroundings and situations. He is very easy-going and calm. Diederik drives single or double and enjoys working with people.

Diederik participated in the 2006 Classic Show in Topsfield, MA and placed second in the Friesian Pleasure Driving class with his driving partner, Alfons.

With his driving buddy, Alfons, this team makes for the most quintessential Vermont sleigh ride.
